We then meet with you to discuss the findings, your renovation ideas, the way you use your home and your available budget.

We bring everything together into a clear renovation plan and scope of works.
The plan identifies:

- What you may be able to do yourself
3. Put your plan into action
For work requiring professional help, we source quotes from relevant trades and service providers.
For suitable DIY improvements, we provide practical how-to guides to help you complete the work safely and correctly.
You decide what you want to tackle yourself, select the quotes that suit you and engage the providers directly.

Not every improvement needs a tradesperson.
Your renovation plan will identify suitable jobs you may be able to complete yourself, such as simple gap sealing and draught proofing.

What does the service include?
The proposed service includes arranging a Home Energy Rating Certificate, a planning consultation, development of a renovation plan and scope of works, and assistance sourcing quotes from suitable trades and service providers.
Is this only for energy-efficiency upgrades?
No. The home energy rating gives us an evidence-based starting point, but the plan can also incorporate improvements such as a kitchen upgrade, lighting, finishes, styling, storage and other changes important to you.
Will Big Little Reno manage the renovation?
The proposed service is focused on planning and sourcing quotes rather than construction or project management. You will select and engage the trades and service providers directly but we can help you find a project manager.
Do I need to know exactly what I want?
No. Helping you identify and prioritise the right improvements is one of the main purposes of the planning process. A rough idea of your goals and budget is enough to get started.
How much will the service cost?
We are currently testing demand and finalising the service and pricing. Joining the waitlist is free, and we will provide full details before asking you to decide whether to proceed.
Where will the trial be available?
The first locations will be selected based on homeowner demand and the availability of suitable assessors and service providers. Including your postcode on the waitlist will help us determine where to launch.
